Safety
I personally don’t go out on the water without impact vest. I’ve fallen on top of my foil while training new moves a few times now. The one time I did not wear an impact vest the foil cut through my wetsuit and caused a significant bruise. That could have ended up much worse.
Wish List
Although I’m fairly happy with my current setup there is always more gear to get. Below are a few items that I think could add to my efficiency or enjoyment each session.
- Electric pump for automatic wing inflation, something like the Airbank Puffer Pro. So I can setup my foil while the wing inflates at the same time.
- Wing Impact Vest 50N – A newer wing specific version of the vest I’m using. Integrated harness line hook and leash attachments points similar to the separate wing belt I use.
