My best photos of 2018

I’m very happy about the photos I was able to shoot past year. Holidays to Iceland and Oahu brought me to beautiful places in raw nature to capture. Because of the time of year I missed the puffins in Iceland. But just a few weeks later a visit to Bempton Cliffs made up for that. Closer to home I found modern and classic architecture in Amsterdam.

My favourite lens is still the Samyang 12mm to capture wideangle and long exposure scenes. However I’ve started using the XF 50-140mm and XF 100-400mm lenses more often to get closer to wildlife and even the moon.

To follow up on my 2016 and 2017 posts here are my best shots of 2018, counted by Instagram likes.

Goals for 2019

First of all, share more of the photos I shoot. My camera goes with me almost everywhere and I shoot a fair number of photos. Most are on the go shots but I regularly plan a shoot, which usually results in the best photos.

However I need to spend more time sorting through everything I shoot, organize and edit photos. And finally share them here or on Instagram to get some feedback.

My aim is also to get at least one windsurfing shot in my best nine list. I originally started my instagram account to post about my windsurifng. However over the past two years I didn’t actually windsurf that much. So more actual windsuring and more action shots.
