Logged my first wingfoil session in 2023 at shoreline park. Winter in California isn’t that cold luckily. However the storm picked up mid session after a short lull and everyone got blown off the water. The sudden increase caused me to crash and flipped my board. The back foil wing went straight through the canopy of the sail.
Luckily a friend was kind enough the help repair the tear using some Dacron tape. The wing should be good to go again with only some tape visible as evidence of the damage.
